Can I try before I buy?

Yes. You can download Proberaum and all plugins for free and try them fully for 14 days. After that they keep running as a demo – with short dropouts until you enter a license. Your DAW projects always open, and your settings are never lost.

Which computers does it run on?

On the Mac (macOS 11 or later, Apple Silicon and Intel) and on Windows 10/11 (64-bit). The plugins come as Audio Unit (AU) and VST3 on the Mac and as VST3 on Windows – so they work in Logic, GarageBand, Ableton Live, Reaper, Cubase, Studio One and others. One license covers both systems at no extra cost.

On how many computers can I use my license?

On up to five computers at the same time, Mac and Windows counted together. You can sign out a computer at any time in the program or in your customer area – that frees the slot again.

How do I activate?

After your purchase you'll get your license key by email. In the program, open the license window (click the “TRIAL” notice), enter the key, click “Activate” – done. One key unlocks everything you've bought. No internet on your studio computer? In the customer area you can download a license file and bring it over on a USB stick.

Which updates are included?

All updates of version 1 (1.1, 1.2 …) are included. Whether there will be a version 2, and at what price, I'll decide when the time comes – you'll hear about it in good time.

I already bought something – can I upgrade to a bundle?

Yes, and everything you've already paid counts in full. Sign in to your customer area and add the bundle to your cart – the price is reduced right away. You never pay more than the missing products would cost on their own.

Are future plugins included in the bundle?

The bundle contains all plugins available at the time of purchase. When a new one comes out, you can add it at a reduced price with your credit.

How can I pay?

Via PayPal – with a PayPal account or, depending on your country, by card through PayPal. You'll get an invoice showing VAT by email straight away.

Which countries can I buy from?

Currently from all countries of the European Union.

Can I cancel my purchase?

Because you receive the license key and download immediately, you expressly agree at checkout that I deliver before the cancellation period ends – which means the right of withdrawal lapses. That's why you get 14 days to try everything first. The details are in the cancellation policy. If something doesn't work: write to me and we'll find a solution.

I lost my license key.

No problem: sign in to the customer area with your email address (no password, via a link) and you'll find your key, downloads, invoices and computers there.

I found a security vulnerability.

Thank you for reporting it! Please write to jan@ruhrpott-guitars.com with the subject “Security”: which program and version (Mac or Windows), what happens and how to reproduce it. I will get back to you as soon as possible and take care of an update.
